Champion Hill graves

Champion Hill was partially cut down in 1930 when gravel rights were sold. It was noted that the diggers recalled finding the remains of many of those killed.

Does anyone know where these remains may have been relocated?

My 1st cousin 4x removed William Miner 3rd sergeant, company K, Ga 36th Regiment was killed in this battle. I realize that there are many unknown soldiers buried there and many will never be found, but would still like to find out about where those who were found ended up.

Thanks,

Ron Minor
