Thanks, you answered most of my questions. I can see how there are 2 F.M. Wise, and it makes more sense now. My F.M.Wise probably had a brother that named his son Francis M. Now the only thing that still does not match exactly is the children in my F.M. Wise family. according to my family records Rody was the second born, the first also being a girl. I will not bother you with any more, but my ancestor did not have 11 children in 1860, so apparently he had some nieces or nephews living there also. The information we have came from an old family Bible, so maybe I can find who has the Bible now, and look myself. Also I want to look at the census reports from both counties and compare with what we have in our records. Who knows our records could be wrong, which would not surprise me at all. This is a family that had a father and son marry sisters, now throw their kids into the equation, and also a man whose wife died but before she died she made him promise to marry her sister, now see how confused I can get when it comes to this family. but anyway I really appreciate your help it has helped so much in clearing up the whole path that I was taking in doing this research. thanks so much.
