I have the 8th Kansas Infantry losing a flag and BG. Buell losing his headquarters flag. Now McNair's brigade claimed both of the captured flags.

The 39th North Carolina captured (2 flags).
The 25th Arkansas captured "A flag".

Knowing that the 8th Kansas lost a flag and BG.Buell's HQ flag I am curious to the 3rd flag in question.

McNair's brigade also captured 10 artillery pieces with 7 being brought off by the 39th North Carolina.

McNair's brigade had 1,209 men and lost 425 men.

McNair was wounded, Col Harper (1st ARK MR) mortally wounded and then Col Colman (39th NC) took command.

For Benning's brigade I have:

900 men for a loss of 510 men (Highest brigade lost at 56.6%). 46 Killed, 436 wounded and 6 missing. They captured 7-8 pieces of artillery and one flag. (That I have so far).

The 15th Georgia reported they captured 8 pieces of artillery.

The 17th Georgia briefly had a flag from the 21st Illinois but the Union regiment got it back.

*Day 2* Took 7-8 artillery pieces, 4 brass, 4 Iron, 1 flag found among the artillery. There it is.

I'm very curious if they took more flags.
