Yes, I've seen the marker and I also took a picture of it. That's how I learned Magruder wasn't killed at Gettysburg. I was in the cemetery taking photos of markers for troopers of Cobb's Legion Cavalry Battalion who had been killed at Hunterstown, PA on 2 July 1863. Their remains were relocated to Laurel Oak Cemetery in August of 1871. When I saw Magruder's marker, I decided to take a picture of it and read up about him when I got back home. I was quite surprised when I found out he had actually survived the war! If you're interested, I'll e-mail you a digital copy of the picture I took. It's one of the V.A. government markers and was probably ordered and placed by someone in the Savannah area SCV or UDC. Whoever ordered it, obviously didn't do any research on Lt. Col. Magruder before doing so!
