He is not found in the roster available to me.

The card you refer to records in cursive "Signature," in typewritten form "See papers filed with rolls of Co. A, 7 Battn Ga. Inf. S. G. Case of [blank];"

The words "paper filed with . . . Inf," are crossed out.

From this I would believe that there were no records in the 7th, which is what I found.
