One final question, I subscribe to a web based historical site and have had no good results finding any records on Rev G.M. Thompson 40th GA Inf even after searching for the M331 Compiled Service Records of Confederate General and Staff Officers. Can you guide me here? I have his son's with 63rd GA request ready to go, but need a copy showing service in any form for the Rev for VA.
