I'd like to ask, what if any, information you have on (I presume he is an ancestor) Col. Frederick Salomon, during the 1st Invasion of Indian Territory, the Campaign North of the Boston Mountains (Newtonia) and/or the Prairie Grove Campaign?

I am particularly interested in the 1st Battle of Newtonia, MO (Sep 30, '62).
