I noticed in a posting by Bryan Howerton (below) the name Capt. James M. King, Co. C, 2nd Arkansas Mounted Rifles.

Does anyone know who this man is? There is a Choctaw, son of the great chief, Moshulatubbe, named James Madison King, who is my great-uncle by three or four generations. I'm wondering if Capt. James M. King is James Madison King.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
