I believe both words are Cherokee. Chustenalah is Cherokee for a "shoal" or "rocks that impede a stream". The "ch" should be dropped off the beginning per Mooney's "History of the Cherokee" which contains a phonetic glossary. I'll see if I can find a Cherokee speaker that can translate.
