I bet an ox drawn wagon traveled slower than 3 to 4 mph, it wold be closer to 1 to 2 mph. Thus an 8 mile trip per day would take you close to ten hours due to stopping and allowing the livestock to rest. A 100 mile trip one way a minumum of 12 days, barring any problems with animals and wagon breakage.
