have probably already checked. Since I was checking on another person today, I checked on Fowler. In
my opinion, all he did was outrun the Yankees avoiding capture, so he never was in prison, nor did he surrender.
Conditions were such that people in central Arkansas were fearful when the war ended.
My friend's great grandfather did the same thing.
Wonder what his pension application said?
