I have no real idea if they actually burned them or what became of them since I was not around after the event, or during it for that matter. I was told that was what was going to become of them and I was free to use them anyway
I would like. That is how they turned up in the reenactment. I have to say that my memory as I best recall it after all those years, that the logs were not in good shape, many were too rotten to even use. And while they
were big logs as you can see from Steve's video, I could pick them up all by myself because of their condition.
I think they were too far gone by that time to save. But I understand your point, I was really surprised when I learned what they were from and the cavalair way in which they were dismissed.
