The Cabin Creek Battlefield Park will be open over the Memorial Day Weekend. Union and Confederate flags will be displayed to honor the soldiers of the Blue and the Gray. Bring a picnic lunch and your fishing pole. A reminder -- at present there are no facilities at the park.
