Thanks Rocky. I was hoping you'd jump in. I couldn't remember how many points were found -- seems you said hundreds but I wasn't sure. I'm fascinated by the thought that in 1863 the Choctaw were using arrows. I've tried to think of some other explanation for the points to no avail. I'm not aware of references to them carrying bows. I'm not aware of Union reports of being wounded or even shot at with arrows. But there are all these points in the location of the fighting around the depot. I'm still watching for corroborating evidence.

Do you know when Dr. Lee's findings will be published?
