William Robinson, 1st Lieutenant, Capt. Foosatchee Cojokenny's Company D, Seminole Battalion, Mounted Volunteers,* joined for duty and enrolled September/November 21, 1861 at the Seminole Agency by Hu McDonald for one year, recorded as Captain on the November 21, 1862 muster roll, receipted for various articles of clothing at the Seminole Council House, June 22, 1863, no further records

Note: There are no subsequent Company Muster Rolls on record

* This company was successively designated Captain Foosatchee Cojokenny's Company and Company D, 1st Battalion Seminole Mounted Volunteers, and as Company ___, 1st Regiment Seminole Mounted Volunteers.

The 1st Battalion Seminole Mounted Volunteers was organized September 31, 1861. It was subsequently increased to a regiment and designated the 1st Regiment Seminole Mounted Volunteers.
