My GGGrandfather (C)linton B. Stone from Verona (Boone County) was a member of the unit. I planned on doing some research on the unit in the future, thanks to Mr. Weaver, won't have to.

His file from NARA also mention he fought with Sue Mundy.

He was a member of a group of several ex-Morgans (one being his brother-in-law) men who robbed a train in North Bend Ohio (a suburb of Cincinnati) shorty after the war. I think* it may have been one of the first train robberies in the history of the Republic.

Old boy must have been a piece of work.
