Second Cynthiana June 1864

I have a G uncle Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Rose of Wolfe county, who served in Co E., KY 10 Cav. under Trimble/May/Diamond (and John Hunt Morgan). Frank was injured at Second Cynthiana on June 11th and captured on the 16th and sent to Camp Morton where he fortunately survived the small pox and dyptheria and was eventually exchanged in 1865.

I have read Prichard's and Wells' "Yankee Chasers". Are there any other interesting or more detailed references for the Morgan Raids and activities of the KY 10th Cav.?

Cynthiana would appear to have been the final straw for the 10th, as well as Morgan, but the issue was probably already settled at Perryville in '62.
