I don't find any Byrds among the names of members of Lillard's Company. The men in this unit seem to be from the Jackson Purchase counties bordering the Mississippi River. The company started off on duty for the CSA at Columbus, Kentucky.
As for John A. Wilkerson, I can't seem to place him in the Third Kentucky Infantry, CSA.
