The state has grants available to help preserve historical sites. I am sorry that I do not remember the details, but you can call the Chamber of Commerce in Richmond KY. They have received help with the Battle of Richmond preservation, and hopefully give you some names and sources. If that doesn't work--call Frankfort. I hope this helps.
