I looked at the 9th's compiled service records this morning. Only two cards for Anton Miller. They show he enlisted on
Sept. 15, 1861 at Jefferson , Texas. He later was sent from Camp Oakland to a hospital at Bowling Green. He deserted and was dropped from the rolls on May 7, 1862. No age or other identifying information given. I noted several men enlisted at Jefferson, Texas.
