I don't know much about Indian ancestry, but Rambo is a fairly common name in Hopkins County, so you might look there. James Austin Rambo, and later his widow, Luanna (Gipson) Rambo, received Confederate Pensions as residents of Hopkins County in the 1900's. He had served in Company E, 19th Mississippi Infantry, but relocated to Kentucky after the war.
