This has been my genealogy research for over 30yrs.but I have dealt mainly with the linage of Stephen F.Anderson.I do however have a lot of info.on the entire family.
In a book "The Enrolled Militia"of Marshall Co.Ky.1860-1876
compiled by the Marshall Co.Genealogical&Historical Society,the name Stephen F.Anderson appears for the yrs.1860,1861,1862 ,for 1863 his name is listed with dec'd written beside it.My info.is that he died in 1863 possibly in January but I don't have an exact date.When I searched the NPS web site for his record I get:Stephen F.Anderson
Union side,rank in Saddler,rank out Saddler.15Ky.Cavalry,film#386 roll#1.Also get the same when I searched on Ancestry site.So now I am really confused.Thanks for your quick response.Look forward to hearing from you on this.
