I can attest to the fact that Steve's firt two volumes are real time and labor savers. His summaries are succinct, yet retain the essential elements of the original articles. I have used both several times in relation to the war along the Big Sandy River, though the bulk of the content is understandably weighted toward the centeral and western regions of the state. I highly recommend both.
