Re: Guerilla Activity in Western Kentucky

I am also a descendent of Levi Williams and Archelous Vance and am aware of the graves
at Haynes Cemetery marked as "guerillas". However, not all of the graves are of guerillas.
I have looked at the TVA records in the Atlanta branch of the National Archives for the so
called "Guerilla Cemetery". A few of the graves contained remains of children. Most likely
the guerillas were buried in an existing cemetery, which was forgotten in the 80 years before
the graves were moved. Therefore, it is unknown how many of the graves contained
actual guerillas.
