The Louisville Journal newspaper, the pro-Union paper of that city, will be a great source for you in this quest. They reported a lot on the actions of the KY Union regiments during the war. The Nashville newspapers will also carry articles on Morgan's affairs while in Tennessee. I can get into those for you after the flag book is done.

The Filson Historical Society in Louisville will also be of help as will the KY Historical Society in Frankfort.
