I was hoping for some answers regarding the 2nd Kentucky (Orphan Brigade)at Chickamauga. Firstly, Sgt. Robert C Anderson who was killed in this battle and carried the regimental colors. Which company was he a member of? And secondly, The captain Rodgers who was mentioned in Breckinridge's report as being killed, what is his full name and what was his company? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. I realise that The civil war soldier and sailor system could provide this info, but for some reason I can't access it as I'm working abroad.
