Thanks again. I discovered an online version of E.P Thompson's book a day or so ago and found rosters for most orphan brigade companies. Just wondering if you could provide me with a few full names like you did last time. Thompson often only provides initials. For example, Capt. Harrison B Rodgers, whom you helped me with, is identified as 'H.B Rodgers'. I am trying to compile a list of fatalaties for the Chickamauga campaign.
Do you have names for J.J Graves (co.E 4th), J.W Berry and A.A Davis (co.A 2nd), L.W Phillips and W.J Skinner (co.G 2nd), and N.M Pullen and T.J Brown (co.D 2nd).
On another note, I discovered that the 9th Regiment was a regiment in name only and may have only fielded six companies at Chickamauga. Thompson's book would seem to confirm this as he only provides rosters for co's A,B,C,D,G and H. Can you shed some light on this? Hope this is not an inconvenience.
