Colonel Henry Forno, 5th Louisiana Infantry

I'm looking for information about Colonel Henry Forno of the 5th Louisiana Infantry. He commanded Hays' Brigade during the battle of Kettle Run, Virginia 8/27/1862 (a.k.a. Bristoe Station) in which the 5th, 6th, and 8th Louisiana Infantry regiments, as well as the 60th Georgia, held off Hooker's Division for two precious hours while General Stonewall Jackson's troops looted the supply depot at Manassas Junction.

Colonel Forno was wounded two days later at 2nd Manassas, and near the end of the war commanded troops guarding prisoner of war camps in Georgia (including Andersonville).

There is also a Colonel Henry Forno of the Louisiana Militia listed as participating in the 1852 funeral march in New Orleans for Senators Calhoun, Clay, and Webster.

Any info would be appriciated.

Regards,
Manassas
