Siliman Institute Hospital

Siliman Institue was a Confederate Hosptial. I am looking for information on Cpl. Nathaniel Thomas Griffin, who
died there in December of 1862. On his record are recorded
the words, "died of disease", and it states to see A. J.
Fisher's statement." I have written to the National Archives twice, and they have failed to find it. Can someone suggest anything else to find what the disease might
have been? I also assume he is buried in the old military
cemetery behind Siliman; I visited the place, but there are
no markers. It would be great if someone or group could
maintain the cemetery. Griffin was my great- great uncle.
Fisher was in the lst Tenn.
