I am preparing a paper on said William Watson of Skelmorlie Scotland and his activities in the Pelican Rifles and as Captain of the 'Jeanette' the Clyde built paddle steamer during his blockade running out of Galveston.
Some little knowledge on family history and his brothers Henry and Peter who owned property and shops in Skelmorlie and Largs, Ayrshire, Scotland.
