Re: 14th Confederate Cavalry Regiment

Dear Mr. Ritchie. Thanks for your response. The individual I am interested in would very likely not have been an officer since he enlisted in Company "A" of Miles Louisiana Legion on June 23, 1863 in Clinton, LA and he was killed on Dec 6th or 7th in operations around Natchez MS. Information I have is that Co "A" of Miles Legion was a part of the 14th Confederate Cavalry Regt' commanded by Brig Gen Wirt W.Adams at that time. The individual I am interested in is Joseph Antoine (J.A.C) Pino who is my great grandfather.
The diocese of Baton Rouge records say that a Joseph Pino
age 27 was buried in Ms. Joseph would have been born in
1836 so the age 27 fits. So my question is does any of the information you have relate to this individual? Thanks again for your response.
