A little further information on the above post: Fort Randolph was named after Capt. Christopher Meyer Randolph, a Virginia native. He would be our best bet for a West Pointer, as Alfonso Buhlow, namesake of Fort Buhlow, was a Louisiana native and was a private in the 11th La. before becoming an engineering officer. Does anyone know anything about Randolph's educational credentials?
