I appreciate ya'll looking up the information for me. I am sure this Thomas J. Pittman is kin to me, but am also sure he is not the Thomas I seek. The Thomas I am looking for was born September 27, 1839 according to bible records.There is no other information. Taking that into consideration, T. J. Pit(t)man of the 9th La. would be to young to be my Thomas.
