Re: R. R. Lyons - 2nd Louisiana Calvary

Thank you all for helping my students with their research and I do visit your site often. Yes, we are the researchers who were featured in the state newspapers for our "Talking Tombstone" research. This is the third semester that we have done this scholarly work. We have taken our findings to SCV meetings, to historical society meetings and to family society meetings. The audiences are always gracious and generally surprised that the students have found so much material in a short semester's research. Much of their information is obtained from interested "helpers" like all of you.
Please feel free to attend the "Talking Tombstone" presentation at LSUE in the LeDoux Library at noon on November 30th. Students will tell about their research and their findings then.
