Thanks for the information it cleared some questions I had.
So what would be some good areas to look for relics? I have had some success on some property in town across from the fire station and by the post office, but I have never found more than a few bullets here and there, or a button or two. Strangely enough I have never found any shells or fragments. I have heard that a large oak tree in a pasture across from the fire station was the site of a field hospital. Have you ever heard this before? Also what is the title of the book the Gary Joiner is coming out with?
