Thanks. You're right. But on looking at the two medals side by side ( http://www.homeofheroes.com/moh/corrections/purge_army.html ) I can see why I got fooled. And according to the article, I'm not the only one. Whoever made the GAR medal was obviously attempting to duplicate the MOH, and did a pretty good job of it.

At least I know now that old Eli wasn't an MOH impostor.
