I'm looking for a supposedly high ranking medical officer named Burrett from New Orleans area.His brother Lt.Eli.E. Burrett of the 21 Mich.Inf.also of New Orleans(was a Ann Arbor,Mich.school when the war broke out) mentions his brother though not by name.Letter is old and difficult to distingush spelling might be Burritt.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks!
