Lee, that's some interesting information about the new uniforms worn by the Tigers' captured at Rappahannock Stationon on November 7, 1863. I always assumed they were pretty ragged by that time. When researching Lee's Tigers, I found some comments made by the men in September-0ctober 1863 of being in need of blankets and overcoats and of all barefooted men being sent to the rear before a battle. Maybe they received new uniforms just before Rappahannock Station.
