The property with the histical marker indicating this is was the homestead of Governor Moore, is owned by my family. The property is currently used for farming. I have been searching for sometime trying to find any old photos or painting Governor Moore's home, unfortunately I have had no luck. Most of the trees on the property, some dating back over 200 years, have fallen due tornadoes, age and rot. I believe I have a photo of the historical marker, will check and let you know. If I do not currently have one, I will be headed home to visit my mother later this week, I currently leave in AL and will be glad to take photos and send to you.
