Confederate General Hospital in or Near New Iberia

From several different sources I have seen mention of "the General Hospital" in New Iberia in 1862-1863 for Confederate sick and wounded (OR, Booth, etc). Does anyone have any idea of the location of this hospital in the New Iberia area, and if there was (or is) an associated cemetery. I vaguely remember seeing a website that listed Confederate graves in a New Iberia cemetery that was being maintained by volunteers, but I have not found my notes on this site.

My interest is a great-great grand uncle, David Rogers of Co. E - 2nd Louisiana Cavalry-CSA who died on January 5, 1863. I have just found information that he died in a confederate military hospital in New Iberia and I would like to somehow confirm this death location, the cause of death, and burial site.

Thanks
