I have the same exact question concerning the availability of any records or returns associated with the oath of allegiance required by General Orders 76 (24 September 1862) in New Orleans. Has anyone contacted the Nations Archives already? I would hate to keep asking them the same question if someone already has the answer. Thanks for any and all help.
