Lieut. Col. Benjamin F. Johns' report is included. Also Col. Thomas W. White makes mention of the regiment in his long report with mention of Colonel Bishop being wounded. Reports include the 7th,, 9th, 10th, 41st, and Blythe's regiments, 9th Mississippi Battalion Sharpshooters, and Garrity's Alabama battery. The reports are loaded with information not before really made use of in describing the battle.
