The Louisiana in the Civil War Message Board

Re: Anthony Wayne Faulkner

Anthony Wayne Faulkner was my gg grandfather. My mother was Lily Blanks Clarke. One of my sisters carries Wayne as middle name.

Have run across no evidence that AWF was captured. He was home fairly early from war and received pardon after hostilities. He went on to become state legislator. His step-son, Daniel Higdon, 12th Louisiana Infantry, was killed at Battle of Franklin (Tennessee) in 1864. AWF and number of Blanks and Faulkners are buried in Columbia Hill Cemetery, Caldwell Parish, LA. Findagrave has cemetery, and there are photos of most stones.

Do you have material on AWF's siblings, Charlotte and Mariah?
