The 2nd Louisiana Cavalry (CSA) flag captured at Henderson Hill on 21 March 1864 is now in the collection being shown at the Texas Civil war Museum in Fort Worth, TX. It has been taken care of by a professional conservator, carefully mounted,and is in fact now on display for Museum visitors. I personally am gratified that it is back in a Southern location, being properly cared for, and is available for public viewing. I hope to be able to visit the Texas Civil War Museumin the very near future.
