Jim, I would not doubt it ONE bit. Remember that a company of the 4th Louisiana was used to create a Partisan Battalion at Camp Moore following the fall of New Orleans. Several of the 4th La's companies were from this region of the state as well. Gibson's Brigade had a continual issue, as did the ANV brigades, with guys not coming back from their furloughs and then enlisting in a local unit. As you probably know, Gober was able to get transferred from the 16th La (in Georgia at the time) to come back to Louisiana and fight.

Looks like a close match to me.
