Thank you George for the research. It is all very confusing, trying to run down these records. I have been successful with 5 ancestors, even locating where they are buried in Confederate Cemeteries but James Anderson has been very difficult. One problem, I do not know his middle initial, if any. I think some of the difficulty is where he was from, Cameron La, being a very remote area in the 1860's. Hopefully I will finally stumble across his service. Again, thanks for the help.
