As I remember, he is buried in an area behind the store in Elmer, Rapides Parish, Louisiana. I have a hand drawn reproduction of his tombstone in my files. I have planned to go there on one of my visits to LA, but have not as yet.

As a footnote, Richard Holloway of the Central Louisiana Civil War forum knows a great deal about him and I think is a descendent of Lt. Paul.
