Yikes, that was far off from what I was working on. I had a feeling it was a chuirch parish, it just did not jive with anything in Louisiana. I am glad you cleared up the mystery. It sounds like some of those Louisiana boys put quite the charm to the ladies of that area to get a flag made for them. Question - I know Bragg outlawed use of company flags in his command in 1862, but when did the Army of Northern Virginia, etc, stop using them?
