I mailed a packet to you - finally. Rechecked with family. Our J H Darling per very old family paper - died in Harrisonburg in 1874 and was a colonel in a Lousiana unit. But went by Jeremiah not James as far as my family knew - do you know the middle initial of your James? Also I seem to have sent my one and only copy of the will - given the confirmation of death date will you please return the will to me after you see it? thanks, and thank you for any information you can share after you see the papers I have mailed to you.
