Thank you for your comments, Carol. I did get a copy of the "Lost Battle Reports" article. My picture also reproduced poorly.

Unfortunately, the state has totally dropped the ball as far as following up on improving the Fort DeRussy property. We have a governor who has national ambitions, and he apparently would like for all memory of the Civil War to disappear. I doubt anything will happen until he leaves office.
